Lineart Discussion Forum: Lineart Resolutions

Could you please make it a requirement for people who are going to post lineart have their lineart scanned in at a high resolution? Cause really who ever starts with the resolution that most of the linearts are scanned in here. Sometimes I'll see an image that I'll think about coloring then when I bring it up the longest side doesn't even reach 1000 pixels.

...and I'm too lazy to ask for a larger version. I would really just like to see some standards set down for scanned in lineart to make it easy for those wishing to color. Thanks.

I know the reason I don't post really-high-res stuff is because that is (IMHO) more likely to be stolen...

Keeping the high-res version for myself can help prove that I drew it ^^

Yeah, I think for that, people generally like to save the hi-res versions for themselves. And due to the fact that this is all voluntary, I don't think I'd feel very good about people having to qualify their work much more than they already do. But if you really do want a hi-rez of something to try to color, then I imagine most people would be willing to help you if you PMed them.
