But I think my favorite is Xelloss. He's of varied use and amusement, and can really stir things up for better or for worse. I really enjoy the relationships he shares with the rest of the entourage, especially with Lina. The whole "I'm a monster!" "Yeah, I know, whatever!" thing always made me smile. I do think he was sold a bit short at times, especially in TRY, but that was probably because by then, there were so many people in play that it was hard to really give anyone a whole sayso. Still, I was always amused when he was around, and the fact that he's not here to fight for truth and justice was a nice twist.

Lina Inverse Kicks Ass!! you know its true and thats all i really need to say on the matter - oh apart from she's hot too :D Gourry is a very close second

LOL it is hard, but Zels mine by far, then Lina is my second. She is so pretty or like Chuli said, Hot, shes also spunky, funny, not one bit snob like either. Which is a big plus for me. She is one of the most amazing Female charcters ever created. Shes definantely my second favorite character. Xellos following her of course.

Yeah, well, the only character I ever truely liked was Lina. She's just always to kewl sorceress with the very stylish outfit. 'Nuff said.

Keh, Amelia Sailune! Innocent, adorable... Insane... >_> That and her emotions ran the gammits. So much to say actually. Strong sense of Duty, and obviously Justice. How obvious it was that she liked Zelgadis, yet was too shy to act on it until the very end (referring to season three). Sure she complained at times and seemed afraid, but even though she acknowledged she was the weakest of the party, she would often times be the first into battle. Ah and yes, watching her "[i]die[/i]" twice in one season was tough to watch. She seemed to be the only one that suffered during the Season Two finally when they were "put to death" and still she thought of others as she approached death. Her cute comic relief balanced with her compassionate nature. I'unno I found her to be my favorite really fast. Now to annoy [u=BlazeBernatt]... ^_^ I loved the Amelia/Zelgadis pairing so much! When people would ignore Zelgadis when he was in pain or was being [i]used[/i] by the others, she tried to take care of him. Embarrising one another on occasion and trying to cover for one another when they were being attacked. Sigh, done with my long-winded post. >_<

Totally Lina. I adore how full of herself she can be (sometimes justified), especially in the novels. Her introspective cracks me up. It's all her bad habits and traits that really make her my favorite. Awful in a good way. I'm the type that loves her character and dislikes the ones with perspectives like Amelia. Lina just comes off as really having the realistic introspective to life in general. She's not perfect or idealist, and she makes no bones about it being about the money. You don't see that in ALOT of female leads in anime. It really sets Lina apart.

lol i'm waaayy behind on this but i have to say that...uhhh..none of the characters are a favourite really. I think they all are awesome, but alone are nowhere near as awesome as they would be together. They just go together very well :] When they're all together, I love Lina and Zel's intereactions. He's so serious and she's such a loon XD I love Gourry too, tho. I guess he on his own is not much different. he's so dumb, but the girls put him in some questionable situations [like the cross dressing in the first season XDDDDD] I seriously can't pick... But if I had to pick hottest/i'd do that guy chara, it's a tie between Zel and Valgaav XD Wierd I know. I don't like normal looking guys?
