What are your views? Is it a sin or not?
Ever felt guilty directly afterwards?
I myself have never seen it as a sin, but I have always felt cursed directly afterwards (no joke), for some reason bad luck always seems to follow within 24 hours of doing the deed. Seems mad but I've done alot of tests, (in the name of science of course).
I find it unfair that I am being punished for simply using what I've been given. But I do take a sort of 'Adam and Eve' belief towards it with masturbation as the apple tree and the worlds attitude to it and how its perfectly natural and actually strange not to as the serpent.
Discuss your beliefs..

Well, no one can live a life without sin. Everyone sins in one way or another. That's why God is forgiving. That's my belief about it.

I'm ashamed only when I jerk it in public.
I think you're allowing too much "because I jerked (cause), I will be punished (effect)" thoughts; that is a logic fallacy.

Lesee. I don't think sexual activity is ANY excuse or replacement for intimacy. In other words, getting to know someone completely and sharing yourself with someone else COMPLETELY PWNs trying to get off on something less.

Masturbation is why we're here. Other people just exist to help out when normal wanking gets boring.

Despite what others might say, masterbation is a sin. For it says in
Matthew 5:27-30
"You have heard it said, 'Do not commit adultry.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultry with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

Nothing in there about jerking the gherkin, kiddo. That would be adultery, which is a whole nother matter.
I think what you're looking for as Biblical proof of masturbatory wrongness is the story of Onan. Unfortunately, that story is not even about masturbation. Onan's sin wasn't the act of spanking the crank--it was pulling out and coming on the ground when God explicitly told Onan to knock her up. He disobeyed and wasted the jizz God told him to put to good use.
Ironically, lots of religious "no contraceptives allowed" religious people practice coitus interruptus (pulling out early) as a God-approved alternative to condoms, and they call whacking off "Onanism."
In short, religious idiocy bugs the shit out of me.

It says, "If your HAND causes you to sin, cut it off." This in itself is refering to just that.

I think you're missing the point of that quote, hon.
Also, quit looking for hints--God spells out in great big red letters exactly what he wants people to stop doing. And if you want to discuss subtle nuances in the Bible, for hell's sake don't use the King James edition!

If god hates masturbation I'd rather go to hell.

One thing that is quite clear is thinking of lustful thoughts, or "dwelling" on them is a sin. That is staed quite clear in the bible. However if you can Jerk the Gerhkin without thinking fo lustful thoughts then I see nothing wrong with it.

It depends on what gets you off. Some people fantasize about movie stars, some think about their wives or girlfriends, and other people don't think about anything at all.
I personally can only get it up when I'm thinking about posting on the Sheezy forum. SPROING OH SHIT THERE I GO AGAIN FAPPITY
