I am currently writing the story for manga, but I have no artist. I do hope to get this manga published, but that would be a long way off. So for now, this is a free project. I think I have something good with this story. I am looking for someone who can draw more on the realistic side in terms of characters. Here is the basic story: VALHALLA PUNK The ones who glow Everyone living person in the world is animated by energy. This energy is known by many names: The Japanese called it Ki, The Chinese call it Chi, and a scientist might call it bio electricity. It is the life force that animates all creatures. Without it, life cannot be sustained. Some are born with a special glow. That is, they produce an excess of life force. This excess, this glow grants power beyond that of a normal human. Over the centuries, those that glow have gone by many names, everything from monster to deity The Norse referred to them as the Gods of Asgard. Legends tend to snowball in that way. With the rise of science and technology, these people have been dismissed as lore and nonsense. While not gods, these people are very real. History Like every powerful group, these people have fought amongst themselves for hundreds of years. Busy killing each other off, they weren't much threat to the rest of the world. Then, they came, a group of people with the glow. They began to kill and steal the life force of others. They were called Nusquam. No one knew why they showed up or what they wanted, but they would not stand for it. Children with the glow rose up to fight them. Victory was achieved after many casualties and bloodshed. After the fall of Nusquam, there was a vacuum. Not having any outlet for their power and not knowing any other way, the children began to fight each other. They killed. Some for honor, some for glory, and some just because. One of the children, who was forced to kill a former ally, finally saw the murder for what it was. With Nusquam gone, he dimmed his glow and left the others to their war. He retreated to a small town to live the rest of his life. There was not much opportunity for one who only knew violence. Even with a life of labor, he was happy to stop the killing. From time to time, he had missed old friends, the person he loved, and even the thrill of the fight. He wouldn’t return to that life however. He saw it for what it truly was, senseless murder. Deep down, in the smallest part of him, he knew that the peace wouldn’t last. He had been one of the brightest to glow. Other children would come to seek him out with a desire to fight, to kill. Despite his guilt, despite his new found awareness, he still did not wish to die. He would face them, albeit reluctantly. This time would be different.
