I just recenly got a set of Prismacolor Colored Pencils, and I was wondering if anyone is proficient with colored pencils. If so, could you give me some tips for using them (especially coloring and shading)? Links to colored pencil tutorials would also be appreciated. Thanks!

When you are coloring, instead of filling the area by stroking back and forth, try to color in circles.

It's going to sound odd, but try using cardboard to color on rather than super slick papers like printer or cardstock.
