If you haven't seen this movie, don't feel that you need to. TSW is not related to any FF game, and it really isn't a FF style story. I mean, there's no chocobos! No mogs! No turn-based battles... However, if you have seen The Spirits Within, what did you think of it? Was it a good movie? Did you like it? I have the two DVD set, and I love the outtakes, deleted scenes, and the triller remake. The actual movie isn't too interesting, but it looks just as good as Advent Children. The story is kind of like FF7, only the meteor actual hit the earth. In TSW, the heroes are trying to heal the planet; not protect it.

I think it's an okay movie in it's own way but I think maybe fans were more disappointed at the fact there were no FF related things you get in every game... well except a cid ;p Gotta admit though... those graphics were nice. :-) But I liked the ending... gotta have a sad ending every now and then :p

well it wasn't even that great of a movie. I don't even dare call it a FF movie. I just refer to it as The Spirts within. o.O

However, it was given the FF name, so it should be expected to have FF material in it... like chocobos, which weren't in Advent Children either.

At time index 0:12:28 It shows a sign as Clowd is going to meet with Rufus. It reads "<- Healin Lodge" "-> Midgar City" "[u]\[/u]| Kalm" "-> Chococo farm" its just a flash but they are in there... And Yes I know Im a dork, and damn proud of it.

Also the only real reason that it was given a Final Fantasy name is because Square Enix Was the one who did most of the work.

My only real problem with it is that one scene near the end, when you can see inside the barrel of the Zeus cannon as it fires. LASERS DO NOT SHOOT LIKE THAT!!!!
