Can anyone please tell me how to post someone's user image. Like when people say "This was an art trade for (insert user image here)." How to you make it show their picture and you click it and it takes you to their profile?

I'm having an interesting problem with that.. [u=username] seems to work in boxes like front page comments, but it doesn't work for me when entering it in the description box for an art piece. :\
