Listen, all you Obama-haters. He lost. It's done. Get over it.

That may sound harsh. Let me explain myself. I was a McCain supporter, all the way. Pre-Palin, Post-Palin, through the good and the bad. I may not have liked his ideals, but in my opinion he was the better man of the two. I called Obama's economic plan Socialist. I still do. I called him a hypocrite. I still do.

But he won. So suck it up, and congratulate him. Wish him well, and whatever you do, stop attacking him. If we, as a country, want to get through this economic crisis, we need to work together. Splitting the nation isn't going to solve anything; in all honesty, it'll make things worse. The worst thing that could happen is have a third of the United States protesting every move Obama makes.

There's an old saying that, "A single strand of thread is easy cut, but a rope millions of strands thick is nearly impossible to sever." Let us try to follow that wise advice.

I really dislike Barack Obama on his own (de)merits though.

Might as well tell people to stop hating Bush just because he's the president right now.

I think the history books will show just what Bush really did. He's an idiot, but he did some great things for the country.

All the anti bush people have the right to oppose Bush just as I have the right to oppose Obama on the things he plans to do, the direction he wishes to take this country.

This has nothing to do with McCain being a "war hero" (a.k.a. POW). Furthermore... GET OUT.

No one said that when Bush won '00 and '04.

So: LOL. No. Regardless of who the leader of the free world is, there are always going to be people who criticize him, as well as spew forth utter hatred. And, of course, like you, there will be unconditional worshippers of him. My advice? Don't look to a damn politician - regardless of political ideology - to be your damn messiah.

O SHIZZIT I HAS DISSED TEH ANOINTED ONE

My mistake on the "worshipper" part, LMAO. Pardon my 'tardness, I do that with some frequency. Nonetheless, America is a free country, and everyone has a right to either idolize or despise the presidents past and present, and diss them to their hearts' delight. A good chunk (I'm not going to give percentages since they vary from poll to poll, but nevertheless) of America didn't vote for Obama, and, really, I understand their right and desire to complain.
