a question....what is it with sonic fans on this site? i'd like to know (i am not trying to be mean here)

It's one thing to question the existance of recolours on this site (although, it's not like we've heard THAT before) but do you mean just Sonic fans in general? I'm a Sonic fan, does that count?

There are two kinds. Sonic fans, and Sonic fanboys/girls (Aka the recolours). Avoid the later of the two at all costs.

mostly, the recolors are on YouTube, and I saw a few using the Sonic doll maker on d*****tArt to claim that's their own character that is not even funny.

Sonic fans can be divided into two groups. Intelligent = Stopped playing after Sonic & Knuckles. Idiots = Usually haven't played any of the games before Sonic Adventure. And even if they have they think Sonic Adventure 2: Battle is the greatest game ever made.

Sonic is like an abusive relationship for fans. You're treated like crap with horrible and somewhat decent games, and yet you still play them because you have this false-belief that everything will be ok in the end and you just accept it. This is why I believe there are so much Sonic things found around here. There are two things of Sonic stuff you see lying around SA: 1)Good Sonic stuff; just fanart and other various things of Sonic that is good quality or decent. 2)Fanboy/girl Sonic stuff; crappy recolors, horrible edits, their "charecter" that looks exaclty like Sonic or other co., etc... I base this on my observations, so I could be wrong.

I only own one sonic game other than that. its still a good series.

I am a Sonic fan myself as well.. but I stopped playing sonic after Heroes. Mainly because the voice acting makes my ears bleed now. Oh wait... I play Sonic Riders.... but thats the newest i play ^^; But i dont draw that much Sonic stuff, mainly because im too lazy to bother.

I hated it.. I played it for like...3 hours and more than half of it was loading time... or nonsense talking with that crazy chick. I think its the one with the rings of fire or something... Oh well... maybe someday they will return to their amazingness.... Although I havent played the Unleashed one yet, but it looks good... a bit bizarre

you have a point there alot of sonic fan characters out there my characters last name is from sonic but not because im a fan

Back in my day sonic was cool and not 3D.

I hate most sonic fans. And I used to be one of them. Oh lord I am so ashamed. They like to make crappy sprite comics because they're too lazy to practice drawing, so they just make comics by copying and pasting things and then making them pretty in photoshop maybe. Some of them can actually draw, but they can't draw anything but sonic, if they tried to draw a human it'd look horrible because sonic style promotes bad anatomy Their characters are usually always just recolors with clothes. Like they'll color sonic red, but say "oh no he's a recolor," and then just slap some jeans on a shirt on him, then suddenly, "yay! he's not a recolor!" Either that, or they'll just combine multiple characters into one and think that makes them original, or totally overload their character with like 50 tails and 12 buttwings to the point of utter retardedness. and they're almost always related to shadow in some fashion And what's really funny is when people fight over the copyright of their recolors. "Your amy recolor looks too similar to my amy recolor! Change it or I'll sue you!" I've only seen like 2 good fan characters in my entire life

And man people who actually LIKED sonic the hedgehog 2006 for the 360 are probably people who have never played anything but sonic games in their lives.
