Summary: Portrays the lives of several school girls attending a Japanese high school with a very loose humor tone. The main heroine is Konata Izumi, an athletic and intelligent girl who, despite these attributes, is not in a sports club, and her grades remain low. I'll repeat that, not for everyone. This is one of those love it or hate it anime. I personally loved it but I know people who found this to be the most boring anime they have ever seen. I enjoy the odd humor while some found no humor in the series. This series seems akin to Azumanga Daioh (one of my all time favorites). No plot, the girls are going through high school but one is a big anime/gaming fan, and there is no real Osaka equivalent (no one can replace Osaka in my heart). This is for those who like weird humor and does not mind references to video games and other anime serieses (you will notice several Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi references). Score: 9/10

Lucky Star is a sit down and relax type of anime. Its all good.

It is, I was looking forward to it every week when it was being released and it always made me feel happy at the end.
