mkinne: once you are banned from deviantART you forfeit any use of the deviantART subscription or other systems (so far as i know).
Umm, again, can you give a link? That's a horribly unprofessional approach to go about things as a subscription as much as requires they fullfil their end of the bargan. Someone paid for it, thus they either need to give them what they've paid for or return their money(or whatever is left of it). If they do not like what the person has done and truely don't wish for them to remain, they need to give a refund or let them finish their subscription, and then block any atempts at renewal/ban at that point.
If either of these are not done the next time I hear of it I will too report them to the BBB for failing to provide service already bought and paid for.

mkinne: oh, and again to reiterate: banned users are able absolutely able to contact the helpdesk w/ a ban inquiry that is responded to.
Not so long ago I posted a comment to someone and they told me to leave them alone, but then followed after that in the remainder of the post by asking me questions. So, I responded to them, their questions, which continued back and forth for a time, questions becoming insults and accusations on both sides. In the end, when they stopped posting back to me to get me to respond, I stopped talking to them as they had first requested. Overall it could have been considered a debate as we both had arguments to make and points to discuss, had they not continued neither would I and I would have respected their request to stop contacting them. However, the next day I was banned for two weeks for "harassment" and threats(I'd told them to shut up or please go die, which is not a threat, but a request as anyone can quite easily see). When I sent a request for more info to the help desk I got absolutely no reply, and didn't get one for those whole two weeks, nor have I gotten one and it has been well over two months. Inquiring about ban does no good with DeviantART's admin/helpdesk as they don't care enough to even respond with "Sorry, nothing can be done" let alone look into the matter.
