Artwork

Like many other art communities, we encourage you to submit the greatest examples of your talent. However, considering artistic expression may not always encompass works of exceptional standard, we have provided our guests with several types of artwork classifictions and options to fit your needs:

Your work can be deemed suitable for Everyone, or for Mature viewers only. If your work involves excessive violence, gore, suggestive content, or the inclusion of abusive substances such as alcohol or drugs, community standards require it to be marked Mature.

+Completed Submissions are artistic pieces that display the pinnacle of your talent. They are of high quality and often require a great deal of time and effort to perfect.
+Works In Progress (Or WIPs) are samplings or stages in the creation of your Completed Submissions, often providing insight to your artistic methods.
+Shareables are submissions that may not provide a glimpse of your best effort, and instead are focused toward connections you wish to share with your established friends and watchers.

When submitting your work you are also given the ability to disable or allow Comments, and Score. If you are sensitive to criticism, fear that the performance of your work may not meet your expectations, or if you discover at a later time that these features detract from your positive experience in the community, we encourage you to disable one or both to the degree of your comfort.

We ask and trust that you use good judgment when selecting artwork classifications and options. Should a Cast Member decide to correct the classification, information, options, or categorization of your artwork, we want you to understand that such decisions are made with best intention for the proper order of the gallery, not as an act of spite. Such changes should be accepted in and left in good standing.

Community

With the interaction of thousands of guests to the community spanning countless regions, cultures, practices, and philosophies there are inevitable moments of difference. As a member of our community, you are expected to reduce and avoid the likelihood of severe conflict whenever possible. Whether posting comments, journals, forum threads, and even clubs, you should do so with tolerance and patience for a difference of opinion. Instead of allowing tempers to brew, try identifying and focusing on similarities with your fellow artists, and letting them develop into bonds.

As a member of the community you are also responsible for assisting with a resolution OR avoiding the matter entirely should a severe conflict arise, regardless of who may be involved or started the encounter. Knowingly encouraging or continuing a dispute within the community is unacceptable, and may result in restrictions against your account. If you happen to find yourself or others in a severe conflict, encourage all parties to find a resolution outside of the community. When frustrated or angry, the chances of saying or doing something that you might regret increases phenomenally. To prevent embarrassment within the community after the fact, offer email addresses or instant messenger contacts (only if you are comfortable!) as a way to handle a continuing debate privately.

If resolution to a conflict is impossible, we ask that you submit a report to make our Cast Members aware of any violations to our Site Guidelines.

Opinion

Your opinions are valued and you are granted the privilege to express them, as long as they are relevant, constructive, and remain respectful to others and the community. If you have opinions that you want the Cast Members or Administration to take into consideration, we ask that they be expressed in a civil and non obstructive fashion. The practices of pestering Cast Members and Administrators, staging 'revolts,' and forming petitions -on or off the community- carry no weight in the case of an appeal, and may result in restrictions against your account.

Honor

Using any tool within the community to knowingly disrupt the positive experience of another guest will not be tolerated. Actions made to annoy, mislead, disgust, insult, or provoke fall within this scope, and are against the Site Guidelines. If your account is restricted or banned from the community, you are expected to refrain from subverting or attempting to subvert the intended restriction or ban. The bottom line is to respect the community and its guests.
