Well, lots of you probably think he's ugly. however, anyone who's raised psittacine chicks of their own usually can't resist the pink, spikey, fellas :3

This is Bonito, and YES he is a male, he grew up quite some time ago :3

Lookit da babyyyyy! I squealed the first time I ever saw a baby bird hatch. I was 10 or 11 and at a day care center with my brother (mom was going back to school then and put us in the day care center there). It was an abandoned robin and I helped incubate the egg until it hatched. When it hatched, someone from a bird rescue took it and the people running the day care center told the bird rescue people *I* was the one who found and cared for the egg and hatchling until they took it...I didn't find the egg, but I did do most of the caring-for... I got a mock-award stating that I saved a baby bird...
