The Minions

The creatures he brings about are not pleasant by any means but they do their jobs well.

Meet the Deadgone and the Repulse.
Their purposes are vague but the villagers often see these creatures shrieking outside their windows as they run through the town.
Some believe they are scouts, others think their warning birds of larger predators.

It's a growing fact that both tend to flee from a fight, the Repulse often dragging it's umbilical cord weakly behind it, tripping as it lumbers off.
It seems the Repulse is a sort of food digestive system and it can be seen puking up the remains of whole humans or large animals before the Deadgone's swarm in and peck the remains to death.
They squabble over food but neither will stand in the way of LOVER or the much more massive beasts under his command.
