Well, as of yet I don't think there is a Zelda film, but if there was and I was told to do the musical score for it, this is what I'd come up with. I've used the main melody from the Ballad of the Wind Fish (I think), and pieced together the famous theme for Zelda which absolutely EVERYONE knows. Then just too make it a bit more Amooresque, I added some nice original slow sections.

I'm really quite proud how this came out, and it only took me 1 hour to play all this live and record it. But thats me though. It's how I work (unless its symphonies or huge film scores, that can take a month, a month without sleep turns you into a zombie.)

So now you have an idea of what it'd sound like if a film of Zelda came out (or an awesome video game.) I'm going to be sending this on my CD along to Nintendo (who wrote back to me actually giving me permission, which I was very pleased and encouraged about, because it means they must be interested in hearing it! It would be quite a dream for me to work and create music for the big N.)

[Composed and Performed Live using: Roland Fantom X8, SRX Orchestra, Strings. Yamaha Tyros, Mega Voice Guitar, Spectrasonics SOV, Cubase SX3.]

Enjoy! And comments are always welcome and appreciated. Let me know what you think.

Anime Sucks Says:

I'm not much for using unoriginal work in writing and art, but selections like these are the reason I tolerate remixes of songs.

Absolutely stunning and fantastic in every way. The Wind Fish is a perfect starting point, and it leaps into the classic Zelda theme with perfect timing. I commend you.

rareopaldragon Says:

wow... this is really good and i can picture a zelda movie with this in the background! it is simply a beautiful piece diserving fave!

Rily Jester Says:

this is absolutly the best thing I have ever heard in my life! they should totally use this for a Zelda movie if they make one!

Kaltuki Says:

It's good, but I think the Zelda theme (the famous one) should be more powerful. It just doesn't sound like it has enough strength the first time round, the second time round it sounds good though.

Brilliant job.

Gilliam Himself Says:

Stunning. Fantastic. The atmosphere created is Zelda from start to finish without a doubt. Every single string perfectly compliments the others. The crashing sound as it builds and builds is extrodinary. 9.9 out of 10, but only because nothing's perfect. Faves.

Dasai Says:

Woah, it sounds amazing. I love how you did this, sounds fantastic, also how you did the classic zelda tune, you did it differently but it works soo well. Is it possible to download this song?

AngelsDontKill Says:

I'm seriously like out of breathe from hearing that... that was so incredible... like... I think I want to cry because of how good that is...

Akanikoto Says:
