God, this was so much fun for me to draw. I love the headpiece of the armour the best I think; it looks like a dork-fish. I was looking through all of the picture references I could find, and all of them looked either fierce, or cute. I went for scare-your-pants-off-demented, and I think it works, since the operative I made is a little crazy. Loves to watch--and make--explosions, and has a fascination with fire. Kind of a problem when one is a pyromancer.

Anyway, this is my submission for the whole Fish vs. Sword thing, and I'm SO MUCH HAPPIER with the second draft than I am the first. For those of you who saw it while it was up for about an hour, I am very very sorry. The lineart was so flat. So I took and copied it onto another sheet, added a few details (like fixed the really bad teeth) and gave it a few finishing touches. Obviously from the title I'm a fan of the Dreadfish; Iunno, something about the other sides aren't nearly as enticing. I'm really happy with this, though, and hopefully it's a sign of things to come for me. I've been away from art for far too long.
