Yuri contemplates

As the sand and dust twisted around him like vultures, Yuri allowed his mind to wander to Angel. He spent so much time thinking about her, he knew, but he also knew that there was no knowing how much time was left before combat began to show it's ugly face once more, tearing through his time as it always did. So he decided to spend his limited moments thinking of her, rather than thinking of things to distract him from her.

All he could picture was her face...the anguish and the blood that tore through the beauty that once was. All he could taste was the finality of the ending kiss; the death that choked the love that they had.
