I picked up the touchpad a week or two ago and sprited this thing. I did this for a test to see how well I could sprite in this style. I think I did a good job on most of the body, but the head area I think I did horrible. Especally the hair, there's no shading on it at all.
The style is from a Japan only Nintendo DS game called Jump Superstars. The game features a all-star cast from the japanese manga magazine called Shonen Jump. I wish it was coming out here in the States, but due to licencing issues it's never going to come here.
What I have here is the sprite that I used as the base, Sasuke Uchiha; followed by my sprite with and without that sprited hat of mine.
