I got the idea of doing official looking Sugimori Mudkip art from purplekecleon on DeviantART. This was my first attempt at drawing in the official style of Pokemon, and I think it turned out decent.
I've got a long way to go, though.

no reference for this except for the colors. The pose is not official, it is my own.

Of course, Mudkip is my Pokemon of choice in Ruby/Sapphire, but overall, I'm more of a Squirtle freak!
