They can turn into humans, but they're innocent like.. REALLY innocent..
Their wings are alot like Navi's from Legend of Zelda(c). THey're disattached from the body, but they are fully functional, and very powerful.
Their bodies are small, with large eyes and large ears, all in which curl at the ends in a curly cue. Their tails are really thin, but at the end they have a large puff of fur. Their wings can be any color possibly imaginable, not to mention can be large or small, depending on the age.
The females are much more sociable than males are, and males are a bit larger than females. Females have a tendency to approach mortals (or anything) and love on them as much as possible to get attention.
They're perfect for keepign as a pet, as they don't eat much, just a bit of honey dew or sugar water, and they don't leave messes everywhere. They are very curious creatures, and known for getting into trouble sometimes, especially if there's plantlife in the house, but other than that, very gentle, and very loyal creatures. They're fairy based creatures. They love plantlife, not only to eat, but to nest in, or play with. They're not big enough to knock over large pottery, but big enough to dig a niche in the dirt to sleep in.
And their human forms are so adoreable! They still have the tails, and big eyes, and their ears are not AS large as they should be should the size proportion out, but they are quite large in general. Their skin is always the faintest of hues of their wing color, and they still have wings, though now they've grown in size and are not as powerful as in their kitter form.
They're language is 'Mao, Mew, Miao, or Moooooow, and Meer'. They have a tendency to 'pantpurr' when they're breathing, they purr a lot and it sounds like they're panting out purrs.
And here's some basic information about kitterflies. (Why she has 'no family') Kitterflies mate for life, but are not entitled to raise their young. Adults give birth to small eggs that hold the small kitterfly (when born they are barely the size of a quarter, but grow within three days of conception to the length of your finger). Once hatched, they are kicked from the nest, as all kits do.
Some are able to have a hatchlin, which is a few words from another adult kitterfly which can last from ten seconds to a minute. Then they are left to fend for themselves. Kitterflies basically teach themselves how to talk, to move, to write, to do anything.
The one in the picture is Gypsie, currently the first ever kitterfly created. She's currently owned by a young demon boy named Ray whom belongs to yosh9 on paintchat. I don't know if she has an account on here, it'd be cool if she did. Anyway, yeah, it's a shot of Gypsie on her lonesome.
