For the November Round of the Equine Art Exchange over on LiveJournal :: http://community.livejournal.com/equinexchange/profile

Strawberry Straitjacket for her player and creator DaughterofTwillight-- http://daughteroftwillight.deviantart.com/(on dA. i apologize for not knowing her name here if she keeps a gallery here) .

I love all the colours, though, being as I'm not that coluorful typically, I was a bit afraid that I would mess it up more than I did. Well. Okay, so I started colouring before I realized that I'd forgotten to draw in the rest of her symbol (there's supposed to be a strawberry surrounding the toxic-waste symbol) but I hope that's alright. And the eyes. The more I did with them the less I liked them and I think that they make her look, oh, space-y. So. I stopped. Before I ruined them all-together. And they still look like crap. Hmm.

But. Srawberry, in general, reminds me of Neil Gaiman's ( link ) character Delirium ( link ) from the Sandman comics/story. So I tried to make her floaty, and carefree, and playful. So I put her in a jumping position... minus the jump... so that she looked like she was floating down from the sky for a gentle landing. Or at least... I hope it somewhat resembles that.

Anyhow: Prismacolours and watercolours, with a tiiiiiny hint of acrylics on bristol.

Strawberry Straitjacket belongs to her owner, no stealing, no copying, no claiming. You know the drill. And if you don't. Learn it. ART THEFT IS NOT OKAY.

Oh, and respect the artist. Take the time to full-view and read descriptions.

Very cool. I the colors and the pose. I can't draw horses worth beans so this is just damn awesome.

I think it's gorgeous...I know that as the artist it's always easy to see what you're not happy with, but honestly I think you did very well. The eyes look fine to me.
