This took me a few weeks to complete. It is 3' wide, and 5'9" tall (so yes, it's taller than me). Entirely of charcoal, white and black. We were meant to take random objects and draw them, abstract, with charcoal. I, obviously, chose paperclips, a tennis ball and a piece of rope off of my cat's old scratch post. Oh, and one pop top. :)
unfortunately, the photo isn't that great. Doesn't do it a whole lot of justice. No critiques, please, I've already had that done by a class full of art majors.
I was going for a white-versus-black thing. Not racial, that is, just... yin and yang, black and white, good and evil, blahblahblah.
There are also about 500 words written in there somewhere, and about 15 layers of charcoal for every item.
[edit]No, you cannot see the words in it. They're under layers and layers of charcoal.[/edit]
Also, this is the drawing that
this drawing was drawing.
PS: Dear Paperclip Club Members... I had almost forgotten to post this in the club, but here it is. My mild obsession with paperclip has found it's way into my art class. If you check back to my page in a few weeks, you may see that other obsessions will be apparent in the piece I'm working on now. :) No paperclips in it yet, though, so it likely won't be submitted.
[christmas edit]

AY LUFF EWE CHII OF MAN!!
...but I sold it.

To my best friend, for the amount of "dinner," (aka a chicken sandwich and cheese fries) about a week ago.

Sooo.. first of all: It's pretty blurry.. ok bad photo-quality blabla I know.. just for the protocol
(Ah and I don't hate paperclips or anything.. it's just too obvious that there's paperclips in it after all...)
I generally really like the picture though.. I can (at least) _imagine_ how it would look like in real size/resolution and I'm a fan of "simple" charcoal black/white arts.. pretty abstract and filled with hidden emotions - I'd say it's a wonderfull little mirror of your subconsciousness...
Anyway it's a _bit_ boring to use the paperclip over and over again but that's you anyway and one could count it as "personal style"
Ah yeah couldn't find a single word btw (blurry.. very blurry..)
