Nova Scotia (Latin for New Scotland, Nouvelle-Écosse in French, Alba Nuadh in Gaelic) is a Canadian province located on Canada's southeastern coast. It is the most populous province in the Maritimes, and its capital, Halifax, is the economic and cultural centre of the region. Nova Scotia is the second smallest province in Canada, with an area of 55,284 km². Its population of 934,405[1] makes it the fourth least populous province of the country.

Maybe it's just the massive flooding I've been putting up with lately, but "fourth least populous" really brings the dreary emotion I get from this time of year.

Dead Fish Says:

You get such a dreary wet and wintery fell to this.

Minstrel Ayreon Says:

Excellent in capturing the desolation of that area. Have you ever heard the Pink Floyd song "Marooned"? This pic would go with it very well.

BTW, is the Latin name for your province "Nova Albion" by any chance?

Oh, and congrats on the Featured Art!

Nanook Says:

Ah, Nova Scotia... I've been there before. The Maritimes are such a beauitful region-- I feel that you really captured that beauty, but also a sense of despair, in this image. Good for you.
