Horrors of the Abyss 1

Uhhhh....dont ask me where this came from. It was Halloween weekend and there was a bunch of stuff about hell and exorcisim on the history channel all weekend long and a "Scariest Places on Earth" marathon on Sunday. Guess I just wanted to get into the spirit of things.
The thing that im most proud of in this piece is the detail. I used a combination of pencil and ballpoint shading to fill in the details.
I had been thinking of using this pic for a halloween contest. Basically, its some form of higher-level demon, and you had to come up with a good name, backstory, and possibly include it in another picture, story, poem, or whatnot (like having your online persona do battle with it or something). Well, its a little late for Halloween (thanks to my good ol' lazy bum), so now i present it purely for your own enjoyment, although you can still send in names and stuff if you feel like it ^.=.^
