recording over a recording = icky quality. But this is me playing some random chord and improvising with it.

Aha ha!

This is cute!
Such a nasty little chord you're playing. And yet, the solo on top brings it together. You really picked your notes well.

Can't say I'm too wowed with the performance, but I don't think that's what you were going for anyway. This is a neat little package. Reminds me of something rural. Where everything is winding down. Like at that orangey-purpleish end-of-the-day time.

Even the rhythm has a nice "ride" feeling about it. Like the whole tune is just bobbing gently up and down. Something like the horses on a carousel.
And the single notes have such character about them. They're very assertive, yet seemingly graceful against the off-chord backdrop. The jazzy way they pop in and out with only a tenuous tempo put with the bouncy melody makes me think of dancers, just trying to keep in step.

My only minor complaint is that the single note comes in a TAD too soon towards the beginning there. But then, it's hard to say that, given the unreliability of the other notes. *shrug*
But I think it's irksome enough for me to say something.

Anyway, I really liked this. Very cute.

ah,I liked when the top recording came in.The beginning few chords was nice,I think if you worked on those and added to it,it'd sound like a good song.

Just work on that a bit and I'm sure you could make a really cool piece.
