I pick up watercolors probably every two years it seems
A friend of mine has been working with them alot so i got a slight twinge to give them a shot. .... and this is what came of it. I did this today, wasnt sure how it would come out.
its on 9x12 paper so the scanner cut off most of the white around the edges

I like the swirls in the background, and her hair is lovely. And the shading on the CANDLE. OOOG. I love that brown colour!

I've never picked up watercolors except once to experiment and there was such a mental melt down that I haven't picked them up again. ^^; But I love this! The simply gesture and concept is very well done.
