Quenching Green

The keys clattered "no, of course you're not!
it's just that..." He paused, unsure of whether or not to continue, but before he had the chance to decide Amie grew impatient with him.

"Well?!"

"Well, you... associate yourself with such...
people.
People that you know aren't any good for you,
and yet,
you seem
almost drawn to that." He atopped, thinking he'd probably done enough damage as it was by telling the truth. He doubted any good would come from his confronting her about it, but he'd done it anyway, without thinking, almost without knowing. He regretted his words already, but there was no way to get them back from the depts of cyber space through which they had been sent.

There was a long pause, just long enough to be uncomfortable without crossing the border into a terminated conversation. "What are you talking about?
Who do you think of as 'not good for me'?
And
What right do you have to judge the people I hang around?
Do you really think that's your place?!"

"No,
I don't mean to be presumtuous,
I didn't mean anything by it."

"How can you not mean anything when you say that?
You can't tell me that I'm in a bad crowd,
you can't insult the people I befriend,
and then
just
take it back.
It's not right!
It's not fair!
You're being a horrible little sniffling pile of shit and you can't even come to terms with it!" Without saying goodbye she signed off. Unsure of what to do he thought to call her and then realized that she always screened her calls. He turned off his computer, she had been the only reason for his staying up so late so if she was gone he would do what he would have been doing had she not started a conversation; sleeping. He thought about what he could do to make things better and drew a blank. Things he would do for normal girls just tended to make her more mad. He sat and thought, the darkness surrounding him, for the majority of the night.

UNFINISHED! So sorry, I just realized that I only saved part of the story onto my computer so now I have to retype the rest. So sorry, but I suppose that if you actually want to read it you'll have to be patient.

I have absolutely no idea what this is...
Sam told me I had to put it up because he thinks I did a good job with it.
Well then... I dunno, I think that it's bad, but hey, whatever. Tell me what you think, I guess.

Hmm... the title and the picture are absinthe related (sorta kinda loosely). It's a lame title, I know, but if you can think of a better one I'd be glad to hear it and perhapse even change to it.
I thought it to be kinda funny to have vampires and absinthe, I dunno why, perhaps because one is a bright, glowy green liquid, and the other is a creature that drinks a deep, dark red liquid. So... I had fun having them drink it, once again proving how easily ammused I am.
and in case anyone is wondering, I haven't drank absinthe, but Sam has so he told me what he thinks it tastes like and I've got the same response from others so I'm assuming it to be true.
The picture is a screenshot I got from the music video for Nine Inch Nails - "The Perfect Drug" (found at the below link).

Some of the writing is conversations over an instant messenger, basically I just made it a new line to symbolize that the person had entered what was written before. Sorry if that's confusing, I don't think it is, but someone else might.

Oh yeah, sorry, also, if you don't like vampires, but I think that it was a given that what I write would somehow involve them considering my obsession with them.
and I would submit this to the vampire club (which I am a member of, shut up) but I think that I'd bring sham upon it and all related to it in doing so.
