This is an illustration to one of my stories I'm working on, called: The Other Worlds: Beasts in the Dark.
In an attempt to escape the Oxarf death machines, Darkness Rain fired up her booster rockets and was launched high up into the air. Soon a warning flashed on the inside of her visor cautioning that her boosters were overheating. Eventually they could no longer continue under the strain on the engines and died out. Darkness Rain eclipsed the sun as her momentum slowed and she reached her peak of altitude. Bathed in the star's sunlight she lingered in the glare...
Gravity soon took hold of her heavy armor and cybernetics. She fell back, head over heels, into a nose dive towards the barren terrain far bellow.
