This, oh this, is a screenshot I took of the final few seconds of the Death Note live-action movie trailer for 'Death Note' a bran Spankin' new anime, that has only had two episodes in Japanese so far. Lukily, both are on Youtube, fully subbed. Theres also a Manga, which I believe is completed. The Live action movie is also done, just needs to be fully subbed.
This character is by the name of Ryku, the Death God. He drops a book, convienently, by the name of the 'Death Note'. As the name impiles, anyone's name that is written in the book dies of a heart attack 40 seconds, that is, if you do not spiecified the way that they die. The book is picked up by Light, a straight A student who is trying to make the world a better place. Once Light obtains the book, he uses it to kill off the crimials of the world, claiming he is 'Justice'. Once Ryku realizes Light has this book, he confronts him, annoucing 'Humans are asuming'.
