"I missed you"

...says Locke to Lara-Le. ^__^

Every now and then something sparks a fire under me and compells me to draw them together. Whether it be a negative or positive push, I'm glad I get some motivation to do it. The art pretty much speaks for itself and points out the obvious facts about the fan Soniverse aside from the pairing (of course you all know I'd do that. It's no big surprise). During the time Locke is "away" he actually meets with Lara often in secret. There isn't too much time between each meeting, but it's still torture for them to be apart for even one day. I want to go on about the story behind it, especially WHY all the sneaking around'n all, but something is making me hesitant to spill too much info so I guess I better stop there

I was working on it about the same time as the last submission; switching now and then. It took a LOT of time to finish it, believe it or not; most of time was spent prepping the line art = pain in the butt (literally because the chair I sit in for hours to do this is loosing it's plushiness). But then it's all rewarding in the end (or one would hope it is). I love detail though, despite how long it takes to work with it. I loved putting all those beads'n stuff on Lara and giving her a somewhat different look, while keeping some things original so that she doesn't look like an entirely different character. =D Because as long as she looks like the precious Lara-Le it's easier for my mind to be convinced (Yes I'm obsessed-perhaps borderline psychotic. This is DA; I've come to the right place to be so, right? =D)

This is a lot better than the first 5 tries. I was trying to go for something that hinted sensual tension without going overboard and being too blunt. I generally like to keep things subtle (Note I said "Generally" not "always" ;D).

I also love making Locke a mysterious figure, and I think I achieved that=happeh Emmy.

I did this pic long before I met my boyfriend... and now I relate to something that I'm writing about for Locke and Lara-Le.... this is uncanny. Unfortunately, no unknown visits within 4 months of being away.... *sigh*
