it was so warm only a week ago- but now the autumn is definitely here and the cold bite of the wind comes with it.
my friend *kitton asked me what my motivation was behind this picture-
a cold biting wind that breaks apart your memories piece by piece,
only leaving a few shards for you to glance back on from the year before,
the nights grow long and before the earth falls asleep she gives one final performace,
a shimmering golden dance splashing color on all the trees and the most beautiful sunsets imaginable
n_n kinda corny i know- but that's what i was thinking when i painted it. and i tried really really REALLY hard on the skin- it was kind of a skin "study" and i had help from several of my good friends and awesomely talented artists!
tools used: photoshop CS, painter 7, wacom tablet
time taken: ~2 days off and on
