Our latest assignment for Comp. Illustraton. We had to do a value sketch from a photo and make a fancy shmancy portrait from it in Illustrator. I picked a photo of my friend that I had taken for reference over the summer and never used. I didn't intend on making her green--I just did it that way so I could see it while I worked--but I liked how it looked so I left it. (I've heard it looks like either Poison Ivy or Elphaba from Wicked, heh.)
The teacher liked it, and he said it reminded him of Mucha which just made me die of happy. Overall I'm pretty pleased, even with the problems I had with the black hole of the right eye.
