Settlers

As they crossed the land
They found a suitable place

This was their place of fortune
Not only was it flat
But with the forest on one side
And fields for roaming creatures on the other
It was ideal for not only them
But potential future generations as well

They began to settle into the area
Using the tools they had brought
They would build

It began day by day cutting trees
Building homes and a town center
Each adult and child played a part

This would be their home
Each home has its niceties
Although each has its quirks as well

This is really bad as a poem, but I thought it would be worse in story form for now.

This is just a start to hopefully something much bigger that will probably be in parts. I kind of just figured to give some kind of precursor to what may come. I don't know what form it may come in either. It might be story form, it might be a poem, or I might do some combination of the two depending on how I feel.
