Sooo... I've been bored recently ;^; And unable to draw anythig decent, for that matter. So I got thinking, and as usual I got a little off track with my thoughts. I ended up making up thinking how everyone draws angels with wings on their backs. Wouldn't it be more comfortable for their spine if they were on their feet or hips? That progressed into levels of angels. Basics (The ones who have appeared on earth) have wings on their backs, next level have another pair on their head, next is the feet, and then finally the hips. Obviously, angels with more sets of wings can fly higher, faster, and for longer amounts of time. Stronger. Sadly, I make up little stories and things in my head all the time D: I have too much free time ;^;
Anyway! Here's Estelle, a second level angel. =] I needed to draw something cute x3 So I diiiid~

Great Picture! Such Cute-tivity! Like the way you think, as well. I'm not sure that The Bible actually says that angels have wings on their backs specifically. It does mention the wings of Cherubims in Exodus but I wonder if the wings of angels are really just a symbol of their power of flight. You know, like the bars of an officer in the military are a symbol of the authourity he possesses. Even when he's in plain clothes, he still has the same authourity. After all, when you are talking about angels, you're talking about a being which is very supernatural. In any event, I love the thought you put into this pic. I'm just gonna have to fave it!
