A'ight ... so a little background first ...

In Nintendo's recent game Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2, they brought back (and totally revamped) an old character Pauline to be the lady in distress. This woman was the lady in the original Donkey Kong (back when Mario was still a plumber in brooklyn before he went to the Mushroom Kingdom). I think that's pretty cool and that they did a good job revitalizing her into a unique character. The thing that got me is that all the gaming magazines started stating questions about where this places the relationship between Mario and Peach ...

As such, here is a side by side comparison of the ladies that Mario has been out with.

I was going to include a text write-up on their personalities for humor's sake ... but it's 3:12 AM ... and the only people who'd really get a kick out of it are those who already know their back stories.

So yeah ... To make the comparisons easier I put them all in swim suits. (personally I hope they keep Pauline around, she's got a fairly fresh design.)
