He asked orignially for an bard, but due to lack of references for the specific style I asked for an alternative. He asked for a butterfly. I asked if I could make it more unique than just a sketch and he said yes. So I very roughly sketch a butterfly unlike anything we se, but used sparrowtails and monarchs as a main reference. I was going to go over the line completely and neatly, but after I scanned this in and used the manual colour change to tint the grey of the pencil black, he really liked it. It suits the feelings he was trying to go for. I might end up scrapping this as I guess it is very sketchy. But it really suits. It looks so fragile ^-^
