There's an ethereal, dreamlike quality to Ellie the Dreamer's piece. The soft lighting only serves to enhance the feeling of calm, and if you close your eyes you can practically feel the soft petals as they brush against your cheek.
Wow...the light and shadow are so perfect in this. I don't even know how to explain why. Maybe it's that you have just the right amount of contrast to let the colors really jump out but without turning it into one giant white glare.

Oh, these are really pretty. Finally I get to know what they are called. I took a photo of them in Disneyland Hong Kong, of all places. I really love the composition of colours it that pic.
