...Heheheheh. I may be shot for this, because of the sheer excess of Shasalis art I churn out... But I found a photo, and I got inspired. It had to be done.
Base photo is from Cobweb-stock in DevArt. Everything else is painted by me.
...I really need to get over this insomnia. I am going to DIE. Eh, guess it means you all get art, at least.

Now then, you ready for another head-shatteringly large review? =O
I LOVE this character. Seriously. From the moment I saw him hovering around in your gallery in the recentmost pictures, I loved 'im, haha. I haven't found the very first one you did, or one that describes who he is, what he's all about and such, but just his expression, the way he seems to carry himself, his clothing style and all that.. much love for him. Much!
Now, onto the picture itself. No idea who the person is that you based it around, so I cannot compare, but if it's anything like your last piece, I'm more than certain that this too manages to portray that personal sense of 'you' which you continue to impress me with. I love the fiery, clouded background you have; especially since it's one of my most favourite 'natural' themes.. the cloudiness when surrounded by smoke and flames, the colour it gives off, hehe.. the little pieces of burning ash fluttering around.. can't help but love it.
It goes without saying that, as before, I love the eyes. The shiney, shiney eyes. I love eyes. It often ends up being a theme for some of the characters I create. I believe that everything you could ever need to know about a person, from the way they feel right now, to various parts of their lives and who they are, can be linked, one way or another, to the eyes. Mismatched eyes usually signifying a dual sensibility in the person.. mixed race, clashing feelings or personal complications.. at least for me that is. Maybe you just like mismatching eyes. *Chuckle*
Besides all that, to finish it all up.. I love the red shirt and tie. It brings a nice focus on the picture that draws away from the face, but doesn't steal all the attention. Balance, I suppose you could call it; letting the face stand as the main theme of the picture, but the clothing, and the background managing to keep up with it just enough so that it all blends nicely.
..I talk too much.

LOOOK!!
Cobweb stock says, "Cool! Please let her know that I checked out her painting and was very, very impressed. That's some wicked talent there!"
