It's hard to explain, but Bleachbaby is giggling all the time now. She's never said a word before, but once I stumbled onto a picture of
FeedApollyon Methane, she started giggling. I'm sure that if she had eyelashes, she'd be batting them compulsively. She has a crush on him for reasons unknow to me. Maybe because she feels she can help him, ease his pain, or because she can so easily share his pain because of her extraordinary empathy. If her arms weren't covered by those sleeves, you'd be able to see "ghost cuts" in the exact places that his are.
And why are there butterflies all around her? Because, in an essance, they are her eyes. She sees people through them. Though, personal appearance doesn't concern her as much as the soul does. But, it usually makes her feel closer to the person once she knows what they look like. She feels that it's invasive to touch someone to get a feel of their features. You wouldn't want someone walking up to you and touching you all over if you didn't know them, and she respects that. Butterflies aren't invasive, though.
Can you tell that Ali dresses Bleachbaby? and, I've figured out something, inside of her triangles, the color represents her moods. She can't communicate them verbally and she, again, feels that mind speak is invasive. So, pay attention to colors. They are rarely angry; she's a very understanding person.
But, anyway. I hope
FeedApollyon likes this as much as I do; it came out so well-crappy background and all. And I didn't fuck up the coloring. I'm really in love with that tree...Jesus. I want to go and draw a forest. Bleach is still giggling and smiling. She's never been so happy.

I fucking love this. Those glowing butterflies are amazing and Methane would just watch them in awe because he's so like that. I love the way he's just letting his blood drip on Bleach's face with no expression, it seems so peaceful and real!! It seems weird that you got Methane just right because I hardly ever write about him and I find him the hardest of all my characters to draw. Did I mention I LOVE his nose? It's all upturned and really cute! Their pants uberly rock too. I always try to add things to trousers but sometimes they look really ott, I like how all of Methanes patches are road sign-esque.
Bleach is so cute by the way, for a short while Methane had a sister, I never drew her but Bleach looks just like how I imagined her to be!! That's pretty weird.. I adore her little waggy tail
