For a new story I've come up with recently called Mystic Cosmos (tentative title) I need alien species to inhabit it. Some are humanoid, some are not. This guy, is not.
He's part of an insectoid race from a planetoid cluster in a far off star system. While not the smartest race in the galaxy, they aren't anywhere near the dumbest either. Their raw power is frightening. They are used as shock troops by the Imperial Navy when conquering planets along side others. The Zorax are often equiped with heavy arms such as polearms, or chain guns.
This idea was partially inspired by crypt fiends in WC3 and WoW. The design needs work, but I'm happy with this first concept.
