She's based on a candy that I'm rather addicted to which I purchase at my local 7-11 called "Live Wires." They're short little wiry things that are shiny white coated in turquoise (Or red, orange or pink) plasticky looking stuff. I'm almost certain they're pure sugar, and at least three of my friends have refused to even try them, based on their appearance.
Name: Live Wire
Age: Unknown
Height: 6'0''
Eyes: Blue and Green
Hair: Turquoise
Skin: Irridescent white/Light silver
Live Wire is extremely open to new things. She's travelled a great distance in her lifetime, and will certainly travel much farther before her death. She's from a little known planet, one that is rather Xenophobic in nature. For this reason, her species isn't readily familiar throughout the galaxy, and she's seen as rather exotic.
She never felt comfortable on her birth planet, and the first time that she saw an interstellar transport land on her world (a rare occurance) she hopped aboard and she's never looked back since.
She doesn't stay in one place for any duration of time -- usually a few weeks at most. The same holds true for any crew she may travel with, or any friends she may make. Most people are left with a good impression of her, and think fondly of her after she's gone, but she doesn't get close to anyone. This is especially true of her lovers -- In fact, she has left quite a string of lovers in her wake, male, female, and otherwise. She's had at least one at nearly every place she's stopped. To her, it is pure fun, and she's in it for the short term.
She's become a competent fighter for the simple reason that her travels have placed her in the middle of conflicts before, but she doesn't truly enjoy fighting. Simply, she knows how to fight to live if need be, but she's much more likely to get out of trouble with quick words and a kind smile, or ...other talents.
She is generally cheerful and/or seductive, and often unpredictable and spontaneous. "Live Wire" was not her birth name. She discarded that name when she left her planet. Stuck for what to call her, the engineer of the transport that took her (who was also her very first lover) started calling her Live Wire as her personality reminded him of one. The name stuck, and she kept it for herself.

Jpging it made the hair and clothing less shiny, even though I flattened it first. ._. Bah. It makes me sad, though. See how the headshot's ear and the tail on the other side get all blurry? That's because my scanner isn't quite large enough.
First non-cel shading I've done in... a while. That's probably good. What do you folks think of the nose (in the headshot)?
