Fang needed decent character art on our
website, so I whipped this up on a Sunday. I don't know how I know it was a Sunday, but I know. ... You know, maybe it was a Saturday.
Anyway, this is Fang The Sniper. Not Nack The Weasel. I hate that name -- He's only half weasel to begin with. Along with website art, I did it as a sort of gift/tribute thing to Rusty, who's currently writing a very good fan fiction about Fang on ff.net. It's called "The Bounty Hunter", so go read it, blah.
Fang is © SEGA, not like they care about him anymore, though, and image is © me.

Ha, that's great. The pose suits him perfectly, the colouring is nice and smooth, and the background and overall composition really round out the bounty-hunter image. Nicely done.
Since you know of both names and the wolf/weasel thing, I assume you also know about the other name he almost ended up with, Jet? Ugh. I wonder if they were to bring him back what name they'd use...

Fang is a freaking awesome character. It's really too bad that Sega didn't see that. Hell, he was only in Sonic Triple Trouble before they reduced him to a bit role in Sonic Drift 2, then phased him down into an item in Tails Adventure... Fang's tragic disappearance saddens me.
Regardless, you've really done him justice here in this picture. It's great to see that some remember the Sniper... this picture just suits him perfectly. There's nothing, absolutely nothing, I can think of to make this more him. Wonderful job.
