the picture of a tau firewarrior i drew by hand and scanned and photoshoped, did it in my army's colors, and used some of the markings in the codex, along with some pics of them as a referance.
Not bad, but here's some things you might want to work on. First, the shoulders are a bit too thin to have an entire arm and an armor plate on them. Second, the thigh and knee armor plates will be facing forward, unless your poor Fire Warrior is standing bow legged. Third, the belt and groin armor are a little lower than where you've got them right now. I think that if you were to just look at some of the art in the Codex or some of the models, you'd be able to improve drastically.
