Jake Long Season 1 vs. Jake Long Season 2

Woot! This was interesting to do.

I no longer have any problem with watching the new animation. It's different, but it's still American Dragon: Jake Long, and I love that show and Jake.

So I figured out what I liked about each...

I actually prefer the new hair by the way it's on his head and with the fact that you can see more green! c8

I prefer the old longer shorts that Jake had in season 1, but the colour of season 2.

I like either shoes...

I actually like the new Jake eyes better. With the white shine an' the way it's more formed of an eye instead of just a slight line...

The shape of Jake's head, I dunno, it always changed a lot and it still does. The new one is taller and thinner, the old one was a boxier shape and flatter... Most of the heads from the first season changed that way.

Hands... I never liked the whole triangle nail thing, but oh well.

Jake's not as pale as he used to be...


And what I found out after drawing these and watching episodes until the wee hours of the morning... Season 2 Jake is more fun to draw. And easier. !
