Hehe. Yay! But how do you do a collab with a song? Like, do you make the base of it, and they do the rest? Or does one just make the melody? Or what?

IvanEther Says:

Wow... This is incredible. Nothing I don't like about it. Especially the strings. Oh man that's a good classical mix. The piano totally blew me away though. Then the rebuild back into the trance... Godly.

I can't wait for the hi-fi version. I'd blast this in my car all the time.

AngelsDontKill Says:

It's a shame that you didn't get much more credit and comments than this. I hate it when that happens. You and your friend did an incredible job here! I really like how everything flowed. I know that's vague, but it really all built up so nicely! Not too slow, not too fast. Except for that part where it all dies out at about 2:59 or so. I understand what you were trying to do with it, but it just randomly died out without a remotely fast intense come-back. Although, the abrupt and random change of sound and style might really stick in one's head. Not in a bad way though. I do love how it built back up at 5:48 or so. I think that long melow classical sounds really helped making you feel the intensity when it built back in though. I'm sorry for this being such a long comment and all, but I am typing it as I listen. Well, besides, with such long work you probably want long feedback, right? Hehe. Well, I think I should mention that it would sound pretty cool if you threw an effect or two onto the drums on the end of that. The drums stay in for a little while at the very end and I think it would sound very nice if you put and effect on once everything dies out right before that last drum hit. But man, you truely deserve much more credit on this. I do have to ask you though... did you and/or your friend plan out some sequence ideas for how the song was going to flow, or did you just let it build into what it was?

glmathgrant Says:

This is the best 9 minutes I've ever spent! Well, the best 9 minutes I've spent within the past 9 minutes, but still pretty close to the best 9 minutes I've ever spent.

RasAder Says:

hmmm. I quite like this.

its not too fast, yet at the same time, it easily keeps your attention. I LOVE how it picks up for a moment round 2:30, and cuts back down.

and then your everfamous, stop in time for a moment, for a more dramatic bit, then resume to originality. i Love that too.

I give this a 9/10 simply because I do think that the stop in time did extend a TAD too long. I noticed my mind wandering.

I can see this as a intro to some game, especially at round 5:00 when the piano comes in. I think you should do a bit more with the Piano myself.

swizard Says:

Just a plain good job.

apoxon Says:

but... i can't think of anything USEFULL TO SAY @__@

except that where it pauses and picks up around the five minute mark is BRILLIANT O_O it's like candy to my ears

everything about this screams movie/game soundtrack

DoomHydra Says:

I have to agree with apoxon... absolutely amazing! ^___^

Gibbo Says:

Heh, sounds like this was a fun collaboration to do... good work!

Gilliam Himself Says:

Wow, you guys really hit the target on this one. This is as close as to trance as you can get. Those guys above this comment may think it would sound good in a video game, but the only place I can imagine this is in a rave/nightclub. And not one of the one's sponsored by MTV, or whatever. I mean a 'proper' rave. What's that about professionals rating this track? (See IvanEther's comment) Let me know what they think of it! It'll be really intresting to see. If you asked me, I'd say that was of professional quality.

Brilliant work to the both of you. And if that link you've given up there means I can download it, then... Sorted!
