Once again I'm working on my weather effects. Wolverine ended up being the character used. Plus it gave me an excuse to use a colored Ed Benes sketch. I love Benes's work.
8/22: I'd like to thank all of the people who mistakenly believed that all I did was add a filter to make this wall. It means the background I made in photoshop goes well enough with the image of wolverine I edited in. That's the only part of the wall that I didn't create. Rather than do any sort of research to form a valid opinion of their own, some people blindly and ignorantly latch onto erroneous assumptions made by others. Kind of an ignorant way to go about things... But nonetheless, thanks for the compliment.

Wolverine is compyright Marvel Comics.

looks more like someone puked on the artwork during a windstorm then tried to wipe it off.
if you want to practice rain effects, you can't just slap on a shitty filter and say you practiced. when it's raining, there are other things going on besides rain. lighting and everything in the environment has changed as well. you need to make your own drawings and practice with the colors that happen during rain. doing stuff like this is going to get you nowhere. sorry if i'm being harsh, but it's the truth.

Hey, fuck off, asshole. If you can't give constructive criticism, then disappear in the cloud of worthlessness you came from. Begone.

And by the way, I like the wallpaper. Contrary to most people, I immediately thought, "That's a heck of a snowstorm!" as opposed to rain. Also, love the coloring job. Very nice indeed.

Listen I don't want to get into this whole battle of things....I've got my own opinions after reading the comments but I'm keeping that bit to myself for the sake of my account, and not wanting to stick my nose into where it doesn't belong. I do agree with the lighting of things thought, and coloring for a storm effect. Perhaps creating a new layer and going over the lineart for wolverine and giving him a more greyish hue or something of that sort to give it a stormy effect...eh but thats another story.
Anyhow...my question was...what is you definition of created?
The background in specifically. Just out of curiosity, given it looks like a picture that was then *think* well I don't have photoshop I have PSP but I know I can get that effect from some of the drop down tools in art effects or something of that matter from a photo. Eh..so for the sake of my own confusion. Was that originally a picture and you created it by altering it? Or was it digitally drawn to look in such a way...and if its a photo...did you take it?
