Fools Guiding Fools
A top the mountain,
I whisper and hear noise.
Listen to the silent spring,
For it knows all.
I trust them with my life,
The peasants say nay,
The wise men plead,
But why listen to the ignorant?
The elders hold secrets,
But no answers to my quest.
How trivial it all has become.
The over bearing power,
That forces mind over matter.
They are the ravings of a lunatic,
Lost in a sea of indecipherable terms.
But how dare they mock me?
Simply looking with no remorse,
Because I am a stone in the wrong pond.
They may see nothing soon enough.
