Changing for love

Run your fingers through my hair;
Slow now, don't bring me any pain.
I've known from the start you wouldn't,
But I'd like to remind you.
There's been sour feelings in the past,
Emotional hurt--I'd like to make this right.
This night, that's all I need,
This one night to change your mind
About who I am.
Whom I'll forever be.
So, just please, let it be the two of us,
Right here, right now--
Beneath the stars and the heavens above.
Place one hand on my hip,
The other encompassing my cheek,
Bring your lips to mine and kiss me.
Forget all your troubles.
Focus on my body... the warmth,
The tender touches
I'm going to treat you with.
Close out the entire world,
And let the two of us share a time alone.
I want to make up for all of my past mistakes,
And let you know I'm a changed woman.
Your changed woman.

~~~
You know I'd die for you--
How could I ever find myself to harm you?
Those things you've said,
Done in the past...
They show how strong we are.
How strong we've yet to become.
I'll caress you in any fashion you desire.
Whispering fantasies to you...
You don't need to change my mind.
This is the you I love--
The flawless features,
Ideals, mistakes, and dreams.
I don't care if we show the world our love.
You--your body, mind, and soul...
It's all I ever focus on,
Every second of my day.
You deserve all the pleasures--
Any you desire.
You are the only one%u2014
Right here, right now.
Who needs to feel loved.
Far more than I.
There's nothing about you,
You should change.
I have a picture of Mishima and Kamina from RahXephon... I don't remember who sketched it, but their emotions and stuff.. reminded me of the poem.... I wrote the first poem first.. and I was placing this to the picture, then I thought it'd be nice to add a second poem to go along with it for Kamina's sake. The icon I used is (c) to RahXephon Movie.
I've never actually seen RahXephon, but I guess it's not nessasary to enjoy the poems. They were both very beautiful, and I loved how the second responded to the first so nicely. And the mood... it was very romantic, very uplifting. You could tell that the characters speaking through the poems really cared for eachother. All in all, wonderful job! fav
