An early experiment with comic format I didn't end up sticking with. This helped me quite a bit in developing Rocky and Freckle's personalities, though. Rocky looks rather odd to me here. I think I didn't quite have a grasp on handling his expressions just yet when I drew this, but the theatric dialogue is quintessential Rocky.
The actual comic is (hopefully) much more refined than this these days.

The dialogue rules...I love it! I know from experience, it isn't easy to come up with rhymes that work out that well, so congrats.
