This was originally meant to be a front page web graphic for Lackadaisy, but I ditched the idea and went with a different design. There were too many things about the image I ended up being unhappy with. It was my first serious attempt at painting a car, though, and I enjoyed that aspect of it. I tend to be much too restricted to the organic when it comes to art. Gotta fix that. The vehicle is based on the Model A Ford of the late 1920's. Rocky, Freckle and Mitzi again. This is why cats shouldn't be allowed to drive.

Perhaps I'm the only one who thinks so, but there are not nearly enough classic cars in art today. The water effect (it is water, right?) seems just a little off, but aside from that, it is a very impressive piece.
